In the past, he was given a water and land fast, and he was merciful and recommended, but he was afraid that the wrongful force was deep and the recommendation was shallow, and he could not let go of his ears. There are many people like this in ancient times. Nowadays, people cultivate good deeds, and they do not quit much for Jinji Keye.
Notes
Wu Hou: i.e. Wu Zetian. A native of Wenshui (文水, in modern Fenyang, Shanxi) during the Tang Dynasty. The surname is Wu ,and the name is 曌 (照). At the age of fourteen, he was selected by Emperor Taizong of Tang to enter the palace as a "talented person". After Emperor Taizong's death, he entered the temple as a nun. After Emperor Gaozong ascended the throne, he was recalled to the palace. Yonghui was made empress in the sixth year (655). In the first year of Hongdao (683), Emperor Gaozong was succeeded by Emperor Zhongzong. Emperor Wu deposed Emperor Zhongzong and Emperor Ruizong, and took the throne in the first year of the Reign of Heaven (690), changing the name of the country to Zhou at the age of eighty-two. The courtesy name is "Then the Heavenly Saint Empress".
Ren Yan: After The Lü clan of Han Gaozu's ancestor Liu Bang, after Gao Zu's death, cut off Gao Zu's pet Lady Ji Qi's hands and feet, removed her eyes, smoked her ears, drank medicine, and placed them in the toilet, called "Ren Yan". Water and Land Fasting: That is, fasting food to provide water and land sentient beings, in order to save the undead. According to the fourth volume of the Shimen Orthodoxy, the so-called water and land people take the meaning of "the immortals eat in the flowing water, and the ghosts eat on the pure earth". And because emperor Xiao Yan of Liangwu set up a water and land temple, puji six ways and four living beings, emperor Nai Phi sutras, Yi Ah nan encountered the face of the ghost king, established the meaning of equal food, made ritual texts, and repaired water and land fasting at the Golden Mountain Temple.
