Zhuhai sets new target for 2022: GDP growth of 6.5%

Nandu News Last year, Zhuhai's GDP exceeded 370 billion yuan, an increase of 7%, so what new goals has Zhuhai set in the new year? This morning, Zhuhai Mayor Huang Zhihao proposed in his government work report that Zhuhai's EXPECTED GDP growth this year is about 6.5%.

The government work report pointed out that the main expected targets for this year's development are: 7 percent increase in the added value of industries above designated size, 8 percent growth in investment in fixed assets, 7 percent growth in total retail sales of social consumer goods, positive growth in total import and export volume in foreign trade, 5 percent increase in actual absorption of foreign direct investment, 6 percent increase in local general public budget revenue, a 6 percent increase in consumer prices, a basic increase in per capita disposable income for all residents and economic growth, and a registered unemployment rate in cities and towns to be controlled within 3 percent.

How can these goals be achieved? Zhuhai proposed to adhere to the "industry first, transportation upgrading, urban leapfrogging, people's livelihood first" work general grasp, from accelerating the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Macao-Zhuhai pole, building a modern industrial highland in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, accelerating the construction of a national comprehensive transportation hub and other ten aspects of the work to give a clear path to achieve. It is worth noting that this year Zhuhai will also optimize the government's guidance policies, actively expand effective investment, and arrange 465 key construction projects throughout the year, with an annual planned investment of 115.5 billion yuan.
