Recently, many residents of the new city in the north of the Xianghe River have reported to the upstream news (e-mail: [email protected]) reporter that the overall facilities of the old school site of the Jiang Xintun Town Center Primary School are backward, and the new school site that has been looking forward to moving in has suddenly become an "illegal building", the fence has been demolished, and some people have filled in the soil and planted land inside. According to reports, after the demolition of the school, it is planned to be used to grow kale.
Why did the new campus of the primary school, where the main teaching buildings were built, suddenly become an illegal building and be demolished? The Xianghe County Education Bureau replied to the upstream news reporter that the new campus does not have the conditions for use, and said that this is not an infrastructure project undertaken by the Education Bureau, and it belongs to the local government. The new elementary school campus has not been put into use with a vegetable garden
On December 30, 2021, residents of Jiang Xintun Town released a short video, hearing that the new campus of Jiang Xintun Central Primary School had been demolished and rushed to the scene. The video shows that a wall in front of the school building has been demolished, and more than a dozen piles of black soil have been piled on the ground in front of it, and dozens of workers are working in front of the building.
The upstream news reporter saw in the on-site photos provided by the residents that a sign had been set up in front of the school, which read "Illegal Construction and Demolition of Jiang Xintun Town", which said that the new campus of the central primary school should be demolished and reclaimed and planted with purple cabbage.
Local residents were still waiting for their children to have the opportunity to move into the new campus, and after seeing the news of the demolition, many people could not understand: Why did the primary school that had been built become illegal? Still to be demolished?

Mr. Jiang, a local resident, told reporters that he chose to move to Jiang Xintun Town to consider that his children could come to this new campus closer to home in the future, "Originally, it was put into use in September 2021, but it did not start to be used." I also heard that I was buying teaching equipment, and I didn't believe it until the end of the year. Later, I saw on the Internet that the flagpoles were all erected. The playground was destroyed and said to grow vegetables. We don't understand that the school has been built for nearly two years, and it is illegal to say that it has not been put into use. ”
Several local residents also said that the teaching building of the new campus is still preserved, but the school is indeed growing vegetables in front of the school, "as long as the house is still there, we still have a little hope." Ms. Zhao said helplessly.

The sudden illegal construction of the new school is incomprehensible
Residents are so concerned about the new primary school site because the facilities of the old campus of Jiang Xintun Town Center Primary School are too old.
Upstream news reporters saw in the video taken by residents that in front of the old campus of Jiang Xintun Town Center Primary School, there was a potholed cement floor, and it was full of water on rainy days, and some parents carried their children into the school with water. The playground where you study is also full of dirt. The school building is also a bungalow with yellow walls and a gray floor.
The most unacceptable thing for parents is whether it is a school toilet or a dry toilet. Some parents reported that because the school toilet is too dirty, many children will hold back their bowels and go home every day.
"At that time, I looked at the old campus, or stayed in the 70s and 80s of the last century, the housing structure, as soon as I walked into the school, my heart was cold." Mr. Zhang told reporters that he had visited the old campus before buying a house, and the overall environment and facilities of the old campus were not satisfactory. When he bought a house in July last year, he saw that the teaching building of the new campus had been built, and the security room and fence at the entrance had been built, and he felt that the new campus should be put into use soon.
According to local residents, they reflected on the safety and old facilities of Jiang Xintun Central Primary School to the Education Bureau, when the staff replied that the old school site of the primary school had been established for a long time, the campus building was old but there was no safety problem, and as for the water problem related to the drainage system, the road in front of the school would be repaired during the holidays.
On December 24 last year, Mr. Zhang reflected the problem of jiang xintun new and old primary schools to the Xianghe County Education Bureau. At that time, the staff of the Education Bureau replied that after verification, although the main project of the new school site has been completed, the follow-up playground construction and plastic runway laying, garbage transfer station construction, weak current erection inside the teaching building, campus broadcasting, monitoring and teaching electronic education equipment and other auxiliary facilities are under intense planning, and do not yet have the conditions for use, and said that the construction enterprise has been supervised to accelerate the resumption of construction.
What Mr. Zhang did not expect was that he did not wait to resume the construction, but what he waited for was that the gate and wall of the new school site were demolished, and the school became illegal and faced demolition.

During the interview, the reporter did not get the relevant answer. On the afternoon of January 12, the Xianghe County Education Bureau replied to reporters that the new campus did not have the conditions for use, and informed that this was not an infrastructure project undertaken by the Education Bureau and belonged to the local government. The government staff of Jiang Xintun Town said that this piece of land belongs to the education land and should be under the management of the Education Bureau.
