Li Yu is a member of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and a singer in the Opera Troupe of the China Opera and Dance Theatre. As an ambassador for the cultural and artistic publicity of Nüshu, as a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference , she has continued to "speak out" for the traditional culture of Nüshu in her hometown for many years.

I have heard women's books since I was a child, and the real contact with women's books began in 2004. One day, I received a work from my hometown, and the blue printed cloth was embroidered with words like oracle bones. I don't know what the word is, I pulled the hometown people to chat for half a day, only to know that it is the Yongzhou Women's Book, embroidered with the four words of "Great Love Without Boundaries".

This work of women's books immediately attracted me. So pretty, so magical! Such a beautiful culture is rarely known. Since then, I have consciously understood the ins and outs of Nüshu and have returned to my hometown many times to visit Nüshuyuan.

As a publicity ambassador for the culture and art of Nüshu and a member of the CPPCC National Committee in the literary and art circles, in recent years, together with the provincial political coordination and research group, I have participated in the research activities on Jiang Yong's Nüshu, and the proposals for 4 consecutive years have been related to Nüshu.

In the past 4 years, after in-depth research, I have created three Nüshu group songs from the perspective of an artist, and filmed them into MTV, singing on the stage in Beijing and even the world, to introduce the unique charm of Nüshu culture to everyone.

In 2017, at the invitation of the National Happiness Center of Bhutan, I participated in the Royal Carnival and gave the Nüshu script and culture as a gift to the Empress Dowager and the Princess, realizing the first cultural exchange of the mysterious Nüshu culture in the history of Bhutan, and contributing cultural strength to the promotion of friendship between the two countries.

In 2021, I will continue to pay attention to the development of Jiangyong's nushu culture. On the Kuaishou platform with nearly 4 million fans, I actively promote the culture of Nüshu, and strive to pass on the excellent content of the Nüshu culture, such as family style and family rule education, moral literacy norms, mutual assistance between sisters and girlfriends, and the credibility of Yinuo Qianjin, hoping to promote the Nüshu culture at the same time, for the improvement of social harmony and moral level, do their part.

At this year's provincial two sessions, I will continue to make suggestions and suggestions on the "inheritance and development of Nüshu culture", and work hard to promote the ancient culture of Nüshu to a broader world stage with a sense of awe.
