Don't misdiagnose these "misunderstandings"
1. Epiphyseal epicenteral epiphysis in the tibia: It is not uncommon for the epiphyseal of the tibia to have multiple ossification centers, characterized by smooth edges, continuous bone cortex, and bilateral comparison can be made when uncertain.

Double-sided comparison can be made when uncertain
2. Epiphysis at the base of the 5th metatarsal bone: the translucent line is longitudinal, parallel to the long axis of the metatarsal.
3. Normal epiphyseal plate of the humerus: do not mistakenly think of the fracture line.
4. Dichotomy patella: smaller bone masses are usually located in the outer upper part, usually bilaterally symmetrical.
5. Phalangeal vascular sulcus: vascular communication is often only seen on the side of the bony cortex, and walks diagonally.
6. Distal radius osteophytes: small osteophytes are formed on the lateral margin of the radius, which belongs to a kind of normal variation.
7. Scaphoid osteophyte: small osteophyte on the lateral margin of the scaphoid bone, which is easily misdiagnosed as a fracture.
8. Epiphysis of tibia nodules: common in adolescents aged 14-18 years.
9. Vertebral margin bone: vertebral margin bone is commonly found in the anterior and upper edge of the vertebral body, which is manifested as a triangular bone mass with different sizes in the anterior and upper angles of the vertebral body, corresponding to the defect area of the vertebral body, and the periphery is hardened.
10. Sesamoid bone: the sesamoid bone is a small and medium-sized bone mass generated in the tendon with large compression, which has the function of assisting activities, and is commonly found in the hands and feet.
11. Skin laceration: The projection of air in the skin crack resembles a fracture, which is easy to misdiagnose.
12. Large gross femur: the size of the femur is generally healed at the age of 15-20.
13. Hyoid bone mass is not fused: The hyoid bone generally needs to be 40 years old before it will fuse into a piece, and the picture shows the unfused hyoid bone.
14, Mach line: Mach line is a kind of artifact, manifested as a black line, commonly found at the base of the tooth process.
15. Cartilage connection of the pelvis: the pelvis is composed of the iliac bone, the sciatic bone and the pubic bone, and it is manifested as a translucent line before the bony connection is formed.
16. Vertebral rib joints: Do not mistake normal vertebral rib joints for fracture lines.
17. Parabones of the upper edge of the acetabular: rare.
18. Epiphysis of the calcaneus: it is the ossification center of the posterior edge of the calcaneal bone, which can be a multi-faceted ossification center.
19. Triangular bone parabones: located behind the talus, the incidence rate is about 5%-15%.
