Live bar Jan. 7 -- Pelicans coach Willie Green gave a media interview before the game today, in which he talked about Zion.com.
According to previous reports, Zion is currently undergoing recovery treatment in Portland, and the Pelicans are still expecting him to return this season, but there is little hope.
Willie Green said he had spoken to Zion a few times and stressed that Zion's absence for so long due to a foot injury was really difficult for him personally.
Zion has not yet played this season. In the first two seasons, Zion played in 85 regular season games for the Pelicans, averaging 25.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks per game in 31.7 minutes, shooting 60.4 percent from three-point range.
