According to NBA reporter JD Shaw, Center Jason Thompson, who played for the CBA Guangdong team last season, has signed a contract with the NBA Development League.
Thompson, 35, played for Shandong, Sichuan, Beijing And Guangdong in his CBA career, and won the championship with Guangdong last season.
During his NBA career, Thompson played for the Kings, Warriors and Raptors, playing in 588 regular-season games, averaging 8.9 points and 6.6 rebounds in 25.2 minutes per game.
