Summer, which came to the LCS division in 2017, is about to spend its sixth year in North America. He won the 100T for the first time in the 2021 LCS Summer And competed in the S11 World Championship, failing to reach the quarterfinals in the group stage with 3 wins and 3 losses. Back in South Korea, he participated in the training camp at the T1 base, and the goal of the new season is still to "win the championship with good results and enter the global finals again". (This interview was conducted in December last year)

Q: I am conducting a training camp in Korea, so let's introduce the latest situation.
After the S11 World Championship, he rested in South Korea for about a month. It is now undergoing approximately 10 days of intensive training. Feeling is the stage of slowly finding a feeling [for the game].
Q: 100T is now training at the T1 base, is there any fate?
The most recent fate is to be in the same group at the S11 World Championship. (Laughs) Because we beat EDG, T1 was able to reach the quarterfinals first in the group without having to play overtime. I remember that T1 also thanked us at that time. Fate probably began at that time.
Q: Most overseas teams will conduct training at hotels when they come to Korea. The 100T is a training camp in the T1, what is the difference?
When I played in Korea, I was a little uncomfortable in T1 because I was in another team (KT). But also found it interesting and fresh. Personally, I have the feeling of playing against a Korean team.
Q: What is the daily routine of the training camp now?
Go out and relax for an hour or so at 12 o'clock. Training sessions take place from after lunch to 4 p.m. This is followed by individual practice, with another training session from 7 to 10 a.m. Dinner after the second training session. I feel that if I eat it again, I will gain weight, and I need to adjust it. After the training session is over, I will play the qualifying position on my own. T1's meal is really well done.
Q: The COVID-19 epidemic is getting worse and worse, and last year there were often overseas players training in South Korea, but the whole team has not come to train for a long time. What is my personal opinion on intensive training?
Before the World Championships, we had a training camp in Berlin. However, at that time, due to visa problems, the players could not come over and could not play the training match. This time everyone came so it was fun. In terms of ranking, there are 50 pings in North America, but only 8 in South Korea. Queues are also short.
In North America, few people have to wait for an hour, and they may be assigned a position that they don't want to play. But in South Korea, I don't know if it's because I don't have a high score, and I can get it in 10 minutes at most. If you give a super account with a fist, you can rank platinum players in the gold rank. Teammates said they had played well since then. Very satisfied with the Korean training.

Q: Looking back at the 2021 season, the 100T won the summer championship and also entered the world championship. What is the personal summary?
Crucially, the team won the LCS Summer Championship. The spring games are still getting closer to the players, and they feel that they are in the "preparation stage". With the addition of Managered coaches and Abbedagge, the team sought more integrity. Victory and defeat also feel more closely related to the team.
Q: TL and C9 were both strong, did I personally think I could win the championship?
TL went straight to the final, and we beat C9 in the losers group to reach the final. The final was supposed to lose a game, but our team's performance was unexpected and personally surprising.
Q: Let's talk about the 2021 World Finals, which I personally think is a regrettable competition.
During the training camp in Berlin, the two tatsunos were unable to show up because of visa problems. Therefore, there is no way to play the training game, and can only play in the European service. Since then, the kind of state we played at LCS has started to decline, and it took a long time to get back to form. I've personally heard that when we started training, the other teams had been training for about a month. At that time, it was also a period of version change, and there were shangdan male guns, medium single barbarian kings and so on. The other teams have a variety of hero use methods and coping abilities, and we were eliminated in the catch-up stage, which is a pity.
Q: It's been my sixth year in North America, so there should be no problem in terms of communication and the like.
It was hard work when I first went to North America. He is young and has a more cautious personality, so it is difficult to take the initiative to communicate with everyone. Originally English is not good, so there are many difficulties in some trivial places. For example, you need help when you go out to order food or go for a walk. Now I feel like I'm the same in the U.S. or In South Korea. Nothing special, well adapted.
Q: What is your personal opinion on Huhi's transfer from a single to assisted?
Brother Huhi was in the middle when he was on our team, and after going to GGS, he switched to auxiliary. I think he is a wandering type of single, and he understands a lot in terms of vision. He worked with the ADC FBI for a long time and got along. Outside of the game he also considers a lot, like Mom's style.
Q: The LCS also changed a lot before the start of the new season. What are the vigilant teams?
TL feels strong. Judging from the fame of the players, they are quite powerful. The other teams had nothing to worry about.
Q: Which contestant do you want to meet?
It's fun to meet with C9 on single Summit. I heard that his English is not very good and it will be a little hard at first. Hope to adapt well.
Q: Score and Mafa, who used to play together at KT, went to GEN as supervisor and coach, respectively.
I was surprised when I first heard about it, but when I lived together, I also knew my personality very well. I think they're going to do a good job as coaches. In any case, if you are a coach, because you are not very old, you can communicate with the players without burden. Score was then transferred from the ADC to the wild position, which was a very brain-conscious position. He's smart and has a deep understanding of the game.
Q: What are my personal goals for the 2022 season?
Definitely a result. I hope to win the championship with good results, reach the global finals again, and show a better appearance than in 2021.
