Qianjiang's first alpine wind farm is connected to the grid for power generation

On December 30, 2021, snow and clouds covered the Wufuling Wind Farm in Qianjiang District.

The wind farm is the first wind farm project in Qianjiang District, located in Wufuling, more than 1500 meters above sea level, is a centralized wind farm, with a total investment of 650 million yuan, a total installed capacity of 80MW, a total of 23 single-unit wind turbines, an annual power generation capacity of 160 million kWh, has been connected to the grid a few days ago. The project will lay the foundation for the construction of a new power system with new energy as the main body.
