Shams: The Knicks will cut Valentine who will be free agents

According to the famous Shams, sources revealed that the Knicks will cut Valentine, and Valentine will become a free agent.

In a previously announced three-way deal, the Knicks received the right to sign Valentine, Brad Newley (54th pick in 2007), Wang Zhelin (57th pick in 2016) and some cash from the Lakers.

So far this season, Valentine has played 22 games for the Cavaliers, averaging 9.3 minutes per game, 2.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.5 assists, and shooting 40.9% from three-point range.
