Fireworks between the flowers

Guangzhou Daily News (All-media reporter Bu Songzhu text/photo Correspondent: Cantonese Cultural Tourism Xuan) Market, refers to the market between urban and rural areas in the old times. The ruins are a good memory of how many people have for the New Year! Is it particularly yearning to drive ruins in the city? Yesterday, the Guangdong Provincial Cultural Center (Guangdong Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center) organized a festival "sigh" intangible cultural heritage - intangible cultural heritage market activities opened.

The event was carried out in the form of a market market, inviting nearly 30 non-genetic inheritance units and inheritors from Guangzhou, Foshan and Dongguan to come to the open space outside the Provincial Cultural Center with full of "non-heritage dry goods" to "set up stalls" so that everyone could experience the fun of "catching up with the market".

The most eye-catching thing about the market is the variety of food. Xiaofeng Cake, Polo Dumplings, Jiujiang Fried Heap, Gaomingse Powder, Shiwan Yubing Shochu, Li Cake, Wanjiang Xincun Humus Bamboo, Guancheng Sausage, Gaobu Dwarf Sausage, Houjie Sausage, Liaobu Bean Paste, Sugar Winter Melon, Daojiao Steamed Dumplings, Fenggang Hakka Sausage, Li Quanhe Malt Sugar, Sugar Grapefruit Peel, Security Guard Buckle Meat, Hakka Rice Orange and other delicacies gathered together, making people eat their fingers.

The on-site display of a variety of intangible cultural heritage traditional handicrafts allows everyone to feast their eyes at the same time: plain white porcelain tires can become brilliant and gorgeous, dazzling Guangcai porcelain after painting, baking, and heavy gold depiction; exquisite and beautiful Foshan lanterns, with a wide range of themes and diverse decorative materials, are one of the representatives of Chinese folk lanterns; Shilong Qilin with a history of nearly 300 years, looking vivid and mighty when dancing...

At the event site, there were also traditional intangible cultural heritage handicraft stalls such as Guangzhou Cake Printing, Xiguan Copper, Guangzhou Olive Carving, Gold Leaf Forging, Caiza (Foshan Lion's Head), Liaobu XiangShi and so on. Many citizens lingered in front of the stalls. The market also set up a special booth for the 2021 "Spring Blessing" activity.

It is reported that the organizers will also launch more intangible cultural heritage activities during the Spring Festival Lantern Festival, Foshan woodblock new year paintings, Hong Fist, Dongguan snacks, Wuhua line puppet show... We offer the opportunity to experience intangible cultural heritage up close.
