Before introducing Arjun, we must first introduce her husband Puyan Buhua, a very powerful character, the kind that arrives from the calf. Pu Yan was very talented when he was not young, not ordinary people can reach, can be regarded as a typical figure of "three years old to read a thousand words, five years old to memorize Tang poems, six years old to read the four books and five classics", at the same time looks quite handsome, is a handsome prodigy recognized by the ten miles and eight townships.
Since he is a child prodigy, the development path of Puyan buhua is naturally different from ordinary people, he did not study private school as hard as his peers, but directly participated in the "Tongzi Examination", which is roughly equivalent to the juvenile class today, and successfully passed, was admitted to the Guozijian, the highest school in the Yuan Dynasty, where he received formal literature and martial arts education.
In the fifth year of Zhizheng (1345), Puyan did not spend much time to take the ninth imperial examination of the Yuan Dynasty, and won the title in one fell swoop, which shows that this prodigy is worthy of the name, is truly highly learned, and is not that kind of "hourly" disciple. If there is no accident, PuYan buhua will become a generation of Confucians, and will spend his life's time and energy on learning, but the creation is extremely impressive, and this person with superb talent in literature will eventually become a generation of famous generals on the battlefield.
When the Yuan Dynasty entered the Zheng Dynasty, it was already the last year of the dynasty, the Mongol Iron Horse that had once traversed Europe and Asia quickly decayed in just a few decades after entering the Central Plains, and the armies of the uprisings everywhere appeared in an endless stream, and the Golden Family, which was once proud and brave as a lion, no longer had the courage and martial arts of the past, they were helpless in the face of a powerful rebel army, many Yuan Dynasty officials surrendered, few could fight, and Puyan Buhua was an extremely rare one that could fight.
In the twelfth year of Zhengzheng (1352), when the rebel army of the "Tianquan Army" was pressed, the original Longxing defender Daotong had already fled in the chaos, and Puyan Buhua led the large army to hold the city, repeatedly defeated the attacks of the Tianquan Army, and led thousands of people to sneak into the Tianquan Army's position at night and won a complete victory. In the eighteenth year of Zhengzheng (1358), Chen Youyi sent the general Deng Keming to attack Jianning, and the original defender Aruwensha ran away beforehand, while Puyan Buhua once again led a large army to hold out and won.
It was not until October of the 27th year of Zhizheng (1367) that Zhu Yuanzhang, who had already pacified the south, sent the general Xu Da to lead the Ming army in the Northern Expedition, and although Puyan Buhua struggled to resist as a general defending the city, the Yuan Dynasty officials who worked with him took the lead in opening the city gates and surrendering. After puyan buhua saw that the Ming army had begun to enter the city, he first returned home very calmly and said to his mother: "Mother, the son is not filial piety, and he can only rely on his two younger brothers to support you in the future!" ”
He then calmly bid farewell to his wife, children, and brother one by one, and once again returned to the top of the city tower, and was captured by the Ming army. Xu Da, the commander of the Ming Army, had already heard of Puyan Buhua's reputation, so he wanted to persuade him to surrender, but Puyan Buhua refused to accept it and died.
As a wife, Aruzhen looked at PuYan's back when she left, knowing that her husband had gone here to die, although she was separated from life, but she was already dead, but when she did not show too much sorrow, but looked back at her mother-in-law, brothers and nephews, and daughters and nephews, and said very quietly: "My husband has received the favor of the country, I am also the lady of the country, and at this point, there is only death ear", the matter has come to this point, so what else is there to say? It's just a death.
So Aruzhen carried her daughter to the south well in the backyard and tried to commit suicide by throwing herself into the well, when the daughter in her arms suddenly said, "There is someone in the well!" It turned out that the two sisters-in-law who did not spend Puyan had already taken their daughters to the well first, so Aruzhen said to her daughter, "Then let's change the well!" She then threw her daughter into the North Well and generously died.
The Confucian sage Mencius said in his book, "Born, I also want, and righteousness is also what I want." The two cannot be combined, and those who sacrifice their lives for righteousness are also", this passage is basically recited by every reader, but very few people can really do it. PuYan did not spend the great righteousness of dying to become a country, and Aruzhen went to die to become a husband's great righteousness, and the two were recorded in the annals of history and left their names throughout the ages.
