Chen Xinwen: Listen, Qiu's thoughts

Author: Chen Xinwen, sixth grade of the primary school affiliated to Chengdu Foreign Chinese School

The ginkgo biloba on both sides of the park road has been painted golden by the wind, and the ginkgo leaves flutter in the wind, flying and finally returning to the ground. Strolling down the street, the golden blanket stretches into the distance, and there is no edge in sight. The ginkgo biloba leaves under my feet made a "rustling" sound, and I seemed to have stepped into the ocean of autumn leaves, which was shrouded in autumn in all directions, and even the birdsong in the trees carried a trace of sadness.

When I came to a bench covered with silver leaves, the ginkgo biloba leaves that fell on my head and wiped my cheeks drew my nostalgia. Rest your hands on the bench and breathe in the unique scent of autumn. Looking at the world filled with gold all around, it seems to be isolated from the noisy sound of streets and highways, and occasionally old ladies and grandfathers walk by, and the warm picture is warmer than the warm sun in winter. Artists also came with their own drawing boards and cameras to record the rare autumn mood of this moment.

Looking back, I am no longer the little girl I remembered walking and stumbling, and my mouth was not clear, nor was I the little girl who picked up the ginkgo biloba leaves and sprinkled them in a circle in the air. The twelfth birthday has taught me that I am no longer a child, a teenager, no longer as free and innocent as I used to be, and should have my own pursuits and goals. Thinking about the bits and pieces of the past, just like this falling ginkgo biloba leaf is so beautiful and desirable. Childhood playmates have grown up, the busyness of school makes us no longer inseparable as before, time together is less and less, and the previous meeting and travel seems to have become a vision.

The ginkgo biloba leaves fell on me, and the fan-like shape was cute, and I hoped that I could become one of the countless ginkgo biloba leaves to decorate this colorful world.
