Eliza said she was fired from the museum during the pandemic, so she stayed at home with her pet dog all day, and when she went to paint, Finn would follow her, and Eliza's mother encouraged her to do something creative and involve Finn. Combined with Finn's raucous and eccentric personality, Eliza decided to take creative photos of classic paintings.
"I made some props to build scenes similar to these classic masterpieces, and Finn in my creations, more than just a dog, it can play any role. For example, we took a picture of Van Gogh with a mother and a child, and it played the baby. Another time we recreated a painting of a girl preparing in front of a mirror, and I asked Finn to replace the girl, replacing her hair and makeup with Finn's brush, toothpaste, and toys. My innovation is to make changes from a few small details, from copying to a work with a whole new meaning, which is really interesting! Eliza said.
So far, Eliza and Finn have "collaborated" on more than 300 creative photographs of classic paintings, including Scream, American Gothic, and Friends in Distress. Eliza uploaded these creative photos to social media, which attracted netizens to like and share, "I get a lot of private messages, many people look at our photos with children every day, which is great!
