She was once a palace maid on the side of the empress, but later became Qianlong's favorite concubine, and before she died, she was rewarded with ten oranges

History is the memory of things that have been said and done. —Carl Baker

In some court dramas, we will see such a bridge section, the emperor took a fancy to the beautiful palace girls around the empress, and then incorporated into the harem, resulting in a strange love story. In fact, this situation may indeed appear in the harem, and today I want to talk about a palace maid who is qianlong's successor, but she did not think of becoming Qianlong's favorite concubine.

She was once a palace maid on the side of the empress, but later became Qianlong's favorite concubine, and before she died, she was rewarded with ten oranges

In the twenty-fourth year of the Qianlong Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, after more than a year of arduous conquest, the Qing court finally put down the rebellion of The Great and Small, and in the process of this counter-rebellion, a local nobleman named Turdu led his people to help the Qing court in the conquest. After the rebellion was put down, Tur was summoned to the Capital Division to meet the Qianlong Emperor.

Qianlong made Turdu a first-class Taiji and gave him the title of Jingshi, and in order to show his loyalty, Tur dedicated his 27-year-old sister and Zhuo shi to Qianlong, and Zhuo Shi was the protagonist of today's article.

27 years old for the ancients has already passed the age of marriage, therefore, it is very likely that there was a marriage history before the Zhuo clan, and it is true that the Zhuo clan was the princess of the size and Zhuo Xiaoxiao and Zhuo Huojizhan before, and was later abandoned by Xiao and Zhuo, that is, the Zhuo clan was included in the harem by Qianlong as a "second married woman".

However, after entering the palace, he zhuo did not immediately receive the canonization, but was assigned to the side of the successor Nala clan to learn the rules, and after a short period of study, the he Zhuo clan had a certain understanding of court etiquette, and was named a nobleman on the fourth day of February in the twenty-fifth year of Qianlong. However, judging from the subsequent plot development, it is obvious that this experience of learning rules is not very pleasant for Hezhuo.

All along, the harem of the Qing Dynasty was some Manchu and Han concubines, and it was difficult to see such a beautiful Uighur woman as He Zhuo, so Qianlong was very fond of he Zhuo, and after entering the palace with Zhuo, the lychee tree transplanted from the south actually bore fruit, which was regarded as a kind of auspicious rui, and people praised He Zhuo as a rich and noble person.

Sure enough, in the second year of entering the palace with Zhuo, Qianlong promoted him to Rong Concubine, and from then on, Hezhuo began to become a lord of the inner court.

In addition to the promotion of positions, all kinds of treasures and wonders were continuously sent to Hezhuo's side, and even Qianlong built a magnificent BaoyueLou for Hezhuo's, and invited special Huibu cooks to cook for Hezhuo. Moreover, Qianlong took Zhuo shi with him every time he went out on a tour, which once again highlighted the imperial favor that Zhuo shi received.

However, two things that happened in the thirty years of Qianlong provided us with an opportunity to re-understand hezhuo.

The first incident was the Empress's theft of Dongzhu.

Some sources show that in the early days of Qianlong's thirty-year southern tour, there was an incident of "returning to the empress dowager", "after returning" that is, Rong Concubine and Zhuo Shi, the empress was the successor of the Nala clan, and at that time, the Zhuo clan accused the empress of stealing Dongzhu, and, strangely enough, a letter contacting the empress was found in the guard's home. The handling of this matter is not recorded in the official historical records, and it is not known whether it is related to the subsequent haircuts.

The second thing is the subsequent haircut incident.

This incident is clearly recorded, that is, during Qianlong's thirty-year southern tour, when he arrived in Hangzhou, the Nala clan actually cut off his hair, thus violating the Manchurian International. Subsequently, Qianlong immediately sent the imperial bodyguard Fu Long'an to send the empress back to the Beijing division in advance and enter the Cold Palace. It is worth mentioning that Rong Concubine and Zhuo Shi are also in the list of concubines who accompanied the southern tour, and as for what role she played, we do not know.

After the Nala clan fell from the peak of the harem, the HeZhuo clan completely ushered in the climax of her life, and she was promoted to concubine in the thirty-third year of Qianlong, and began to rank among the upper leaders of the harem of the Qing Dynasty. Moreover, with the death of some concubines of higher rank in the Qianlong harem, such as The Imperial Concubine, the QingGui Concubine, the Yu Concubine, etc., and the Zhuo clan had more and more high status in the harem.

In the forty-sixth year of Qianlong, Qianlong held a banquet in the Fengsanwu Private Hall of the Yuanmingyuan, and Concubine Rong and Zhuo had already achieved the first-class table in the west. On April 15, 53, Qianlong rewarded He Zhuo with ten oranges, and unexpectedly, only four days later, He Zhuo died in the Yuanmingyuan at the age of 55.
