Tall and big! The world's seventh 1:1 physical original size is assembled

A few days ago, the world's seventh unit and Japan's fifth 1:1 life-size Gundam has been assembled, and will soon be able to officially meet with fans. According to reports, the 1:1 life-size Nu Gundam RX-99ff in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, which is expected to be launched in the spring of next year (2022), has now completed the head installation ceremony (upper head type) and is currently undergoing final testing. Before installation, after a blessing ceremony, the head of the new Gundam is suspended by a crane to an altitude of about 20 meters for body docking and installation.

The blessing ceremony is to pray for the smooth and safe work of the installation of the Gundam statue. Although only invited people can attend the ceremony, Gundam fans can clearly watch the process outside the fence. When gundam's head was hoisted by the crane and docked with the fuselage, the audience applauded thunderously. According to the plan, after assembling the head, the Fukuoka Nu Gundam in Japan has been basically formed, and will enter the final testing phase, which is expected to be opened to the public in April 2022 along with the opening of Fukuoka LaLaport, a shopping park in Mitsui.

The Nu Gundam mech standing in Fukuoka, Kyushu, weighs 80 tons (the movable Gundam in Yokohama weighs only 25 tons) and has a height of 20.5 meters, which can be said to be tall and large, including the height of the "long-range floating gun" behind it, which is 24.8 meters. However, Fukuoka's Nu Gundam only has the right arm and head to move, which is far less mobile than the one in Yokohama.

It is reported that the 1:1 nu gun in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, is based on the RX-93 v GUNDAM from the animated film "Mobile Suit Gundam Masha Strikes Back" released in 1988, and was re-colored by the "father of Gundam" Tomino Yuji, numbered RX-93f. According to the original plan, the Gundam will be designed with independent switches, and the lighting can create a vivid viewing effect.
