Tribute to the Ordinary (Outer 2 Songs)
Liu Baodong
.
A tribute to the ordinary
No longer want to write about the epidemic,
Because it's been going on for too long.
Not to mention, for a long time
It's all elsewhere.
Although I have written a few little poems for it,
Infused with my anxiety, fear and wishes,
But that's about it. I'm so selfish.
Only care about my surroundings, my loved ones and myself.
However, so many days,
So much touching, sadness and unspeakable,
After all, no one can forget,
It also fills every moment of shouting and silence.
What's more, this time it's not anywhere else,
It's up close, it's all around,
In the secret unknowable,
Tightening, compressing, and changing our time and space.
And so many medical care, volunteers, takeaway buddies...
Day and night on the road of danger and love.
They are the mothers and fathers around them,
It's our brothers and sisters.
We gave them praise, respect and love,
It also gave them resentment, insults and hatred.
And they are the ones who save us,
This fact deserves to be remembered forever.
Now, my heart is at peace and full of expectations,
I don't want to be silent anymore.
So I wrote these words,
For the ordinary, for peace, and for the endless future.
Extraordinary times
This winter, the coldest days have arrived.
Last night's thin snow is well preserved,
In the peaks, river valleys, treetops, corners,
And the streets without a trace. silence.
The sky is clear and the sun is getting brighter.
The wind blows hard and sharp,
Like a sputtering spark, burning on the face,
Just no light and crackling.
But it's not safe outside.
The streets and alleys are quite silent, and people are wearing masks.
Consciously isolated, greeting and expecting each other -
The epidemic has torn people's hearts apart and then spelled love.
I walked slowly alone,
Stepping on the thin snow is like walking on plain shoes.
The world is still noisy, and the sky is very bright,
Mountains and rivers seem to be accumulating the energy of salvation.
It is snowing in Xi'an during the epidemic
The snow is falling,
Fall into an empty city.
The snow is blowing,
Bigger and bigger...
A city is empty,
It's getting quieter.
The city slept in the snow,
The snow was as empty as a city.
