Li Yi no longer serves as the manager of Sichuan Jiuniu and was officially announced to lead the team to the 8th FA Cup in the Chinese League A to the quarterfinals

On December 25, Beijing time, Sichuan Jiuniu Club officially announced that head coach Li Yi was dismissed.

This season, Sichuan Jiuniu, coached by Li Yi, won the eighth place in the 2021 Chinese League A with 13 wins, 13 draws and 8 losses, 52 points, and became the only Chinese League A team to break into the top 8 of the FA Cup.

Announcement that Mr. Li Yi is no longer the head coach of Sichuan Jiuniu

After friendly consultation, Mr. Li Yi will no longer serve as the head coach of Sichuan Jiuniu Football Team after the contract expires on December 31, 2021.

Since becoming the head coach of Sichuan Jiuniu in July 2020, Mr. Li Yi and his coaching team have worked hard to lead the team to overcome many difficulties and successfully complete two seasons of competition tasks. At the 2021 Chinese Football Association Cup, Sichuan Jiuniu, as the only Chinese League one team to break into the quarterfinals, won unanimous recognition from all parties.
