Kang Jinghui designed a forced circulating evaporation process for the owner to crystallize sodium sulfite solution

1. Process flow: According to the material characteristics and crystallization requirements of sodium sulfite, the two-effect evaporative crystallizer with strong anti-salting and anti-scarming ability + cooling crystallizer is adopted.

2. Design evaporation water quantity and operation process: the evaporation water amount is 1.2T/H, the heat source is steam, and the downstream operation is adopted, that is, the original liquid enters the primary evaporator and the two-effect evaporator in turn; the concentrated crystalline slurry solution is separated into the centrifuge to separate the crystallization, and the mother liquor returns to the evaporator to continue to concentrate after the separation of the crystal pulp.

Evaporation unit selection:

In view of the water quality characteristics of sodium sulfite that needs to be treated, Kang Jinghui designs a forced circulation evaporator with axial flow pump, the forced circulation evaporator has strong salting resistance, anti-scarring ability, high heat transfer coefficient, and adopts the forced circulation evaporation process to improve the flow rate of the solution in the heating tube, increase the heat transfer coefficient, improve the evaporation strength, and reduce the scarring speed and extend the scar removal cycle.

For the selection requirements of the forced circulation pump: horizontal, single stage, single suction, axial flow type, suitable for large flow, low head occasions, especially suitable for evaporator.
