From December 15th to 22nd, He Zhixiang and Cui Weibailaichuan, representatives of the Shanghai Office of the Hong Kong Ying Kindness Welfare Foundation, inspected and approved the 2021 proposed donation projects for the construction of Jiacunsi Village, Sanhe Town, Yilong County, Nanchong City, and Pingqiao Village, Xikou Town, Huaying City, Guang'an City, which have been donated and implemented in 2020, and conducted field investigations on the proposed donation projects in 2021 in Taode Village, Baofan Town, Pengxi County, Suining City, Longtan Village, Yanhe Town, Wangcang County, Guangyuan City, and Changle Village, Miaoba Town, Dazhu County, Dazhou City.
In 2020, the foundation donated 2 village road projects, distributed in Nanchong and Guang'an, with a length of 6.8 kilometers and a donation of nearly 500,000 yuan; in 2021, the foundation plans to donate 3 village roads, distributed in Guangyuan, Suining and Dazhou, with a construction mileage of nearly 10 kilometers and a donation of about 900,000 yuan, and the above 5 projects are included in the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee (Provincial Overseas Chinese Affairs Office) "Overseas Chinese Love Project - Green livable Village Action". The inspection lasted 7 days and traveled more than 1,500 kilometers, and the representatives of the foundation went deep into the grass-roots level to discuss and communicate with cadres and the masses at all levels, went deep into the project site to conduct field surveys and visits and inquiries, and fully understood the construction and use of village roads. The representative of the foundation said that the foundation has maintained close contact and cooperation with Sichuan for a long time, and with the cooperation of the United Front and Overseas Chinese Affairs Departments at all levels in Sichuan, it has jointly committed to the Sichuan rural revitalization strategy and public welfare and people's livelihood undertakings, especially all the inspection projects this year are in line with the urgent expectations of the local people, and after completion, they can solve the problems of mass travel, give play to local tourism resources, and export high-quality projects of agricultural products.
According to incomplete statistics, since 1996, the foundation has donated more than 15 million yuan in our province, and the donation projects include the construction of rural primary schools, rural roads, clinics, and the rescue of college students in difficulty.
During the foundation's inspection in Sichuan, Li Mingquan, second-level inspector of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial CPC Committee, met with representatives of the Foundation, and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Comprehensive Department of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial CPC Committee sent personnel to accompany the inspection throughout the inspection.
