The 2017 American film Holly Kane Experiment is a thriller film directed by Tom Sands and starring Stephania Owen, Katie Holmes, Luke Wilson, Richard Kander, Mark Consus and others, and the film was released in the United Kingdom on March 25, 2017. The film focuses on a forced psychologist trying to redesign her subconscious, but as her behavior becomes more and more unusual, she worries that her experiments are dangerously out of control.
Holly Kane had an unfortunate family with a sister suffering from schizophrenia and a mother suffering from bipolar sexual dysfunction. After her mother's death, in order to save her sister, Holly began to study mind control, subconscious synchronization. After a small achievement, Holly began to use her research techniques to serve a local school hospital, and publicized her achievements online.
One day, Marvin Greenslade, an anti-cult advocate, approached Holly and promised to provide her with a free place to conduct her subconscious control research and provide protection from government interference. Holly gladly accepted. After Holly breaks up with Dennis, she suddenly finds herself controlled by Marvin subconsciously.
Knowing that Holly's research was inspired by the potion purified by her girlfriend, Marvin infiltrated Jenny's room and threatened Jenny to hand over the potion recipe. After Jenny is attacked, she angrily informs Holly of the dirty behavior behind her boss Marvin. Dennis also approached Holly, explaining why he hadn't stated that his brother was an arms dealer because his wife had eloped with his brother, and revealed Marvin's hidden identity as an adviser to the Prime Minister.
The story is progressive, the mystery is slowly revealed, the film is relatively unpopular, you can watch when you are bored.
