In order to improve the efficiency of vehicle traffic on Guangming Road and Jiangnan Bridge, ensure the safety of pedestrians crossing, and solve the problems of pain points, blockages and difficulties around the masses, the Tonghua Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau carefully designed and efficiently promoted the construction of pedestrian underpasses on Guangming Road. The project began construction on April 25 this year and was completed on August 1, making the public's eyes bright with a delicate and new look.
"As the main street, Guangming Road has a large traffic flow, and there are fortune buildings, two schools and residential areas nearby, and there are many pedestrians crossing the street, which often causes traffic congestion and it is not safe for pedestrians to cross the road." Now the underground passage is built, pedestrians are safe and traffic is smooth. Li Hao, a citizen who lives nearby, told reporters.
It is understood that the Guangming Road pedestrian underpass is located in front of the Guangming Road Fortune Building, connecting Wenjiao Road and yanhebei Road, passing through Guangming Road, the underground passage is 4.5 meters high and 4.0 meters wide, the clearance height of the sidewalk is not less than 2.5 meters, the main structure adopts a closed frame structure, supporting the construction of real-time monitoring, handrail railing, lighting, drainage and other ancillary facilities.
Integrating taste with safety, modernity and humanized design, the project for the first time added Braille guidance information to the stainless steel handrail, making it easy for the blind to identify the direction. At the same time, set up and install naked-eye 3D projection, starry sky top, install 14 laser projectors on the internal decoration, you can freely formulate creative programs, through lighting, projection, sound, integration of urban scenic features, cultural element symbols, propaganda slogans, etc., showing a naked-eye 3D effect, and with the starry sky top optical fiber breathing lights, stair step induction lights and other lights combined, for the passers-by to bring a unique visual feast.
"In order to complete the construction task with high quality and efficiency, during the construction process, we overcame the problems of intricate underground pipe network, time-consuming and difficult pipeline relocation, and minimized traffic impact by implementing segmented half-width operations." Nowadays, the completion of the project has realized the 'diversion of people and vehicles' in the region, which not only creates a safe travel environment for the masses, solves the problem of people and vehicles competing for lanes and traffic congestion, but also beautifies the environment and becomes a beautiful new urban landscape.
