Half of the magic

author:Zheng Wansan

Actually believe that magic exists

It's always been an adult

It's the grown-ups who create all sorts of dreams

Little children are simply amazed at the magic they see

Today I will tell you a story.

It was a world where magic once existed, and of course there must have been unicorns, trolls, and centaurs.

But because not everyone has magic, and it is too difficult to manipulate magic, later people mastered technology, and slowly, the magic of magic lost to the convenience of science, and eventually the magic disappeared, and everyone thought that magic only existed in legends.

There is a cowardly boy named Ian in this world, his father died of illness just after he was born, fortunately his mother is still there, but she has a centaur cop boyfriend, and he has a brother Barry who always helps.

Today was his 18th birthday, and his mother handed him a gift from his deceased father—a spell, a wand, and a philosopher's stone.

This birthday of Ian is destined to be full of extraordinary and adventurous.

Surprisingly, Ian had a talent for magic, and he managed to cast the One Day Recurrence Spell. According to the instructions, this spell can return the deceased father to the human world for one day. Unfortunately, the Philosopher's Stone didn't have enough energy, and Ian only conjured up his father's lower body.

While Ian is frustrated, his brother Barry pulls out a magic book and encourages Ian to find another Philosopher's Stone and turn his father out.

Then the brothers embarked on a journey of adventure, with a series of accidents and misfortunes along the way.

First, while searching for the treasure map, a commotion was caused at the "Adventurer's Tavern", which attracted the attention of the police.

Later, because the car ran out of oil, in the process of using spells to make the oil barrel larger, Ian was unable to concentrate, turning his brother Barry into a miniature little person only the size of a finger.

They also provoked the bad goblin flying car party at the gas station, and were chased and killed all the way, and because Barry became a little bit, Ian, who had always been timid, had to pluck up the courage to drive his brother's car all the way.

Then there is a cliff bridge, and Barry encourages Ian to believe in himself. Knowing that Barry would pull himself by the rope in times of danger, Yin confidently used the magic "Bridge of Trust" to cross the cliff in a thrilling way and snatch the car of his mother's centaur police boyfriend.

Then, when the crow's mouth near the end was chased by the police car, Ian could not use magic at all due to timidity, and it was only by Barry's resolute sacrifice of his car and smashing the boulder to block the road to get rid of the police.

Along the way, because Ian always distrusted Barry, the brothers encountered several crises of trust and hurt Barry's heart.

Fortunately, brotherhood trumps everything, and Ian, who calms down, remembers that although he has not had a father since he was a child, he has always lacked self-confidence and become timid and cowardly, but his brother Barry has always tried to fill the role of father in Ian's life.

Ian realized that it was Barry who was always by his side, teaching him to swim, sleeping with him, teaching him to ride a bicycle, growing up with him, giving encouragement when Ian was overwhelmed, always loving Ian in his own way, and doing everything for Ian.

The reconciled brothers succeed in finding the Philosopher's Stone, Ian casts a spell to summon his deceased father back in its entirety, and his colleagues unleash the monster dragon that guards the Philosopher's Stone.

While the dragon was raging, the brothers' mother arrived and brought a sword that could defeat the dragon.

As an ordinary person's mother, of course, she is not invincible to the dragon, Ian saw this situation, gave the opportunity to reunite with his father to Barry, and he bravely faced the dragon, and used a lot of legendary magic, experienced a vicious fight, and defeated the dragon.

The beautiful reunion was incredibly short-lived, almost for a moment, and in the end Ian was never able to see his father.

Luckily, he reacquainted himself with his brother Barry, who loved him, gained courage and self-confidence, and made friends.

My story was a little too sloppy, but this story of growth, courage, and family really moved me to the bottom. It turns out that foreigners can also sketch the story of "elder brother like father" so wonderfully.

The story is called "Half of Magic." I can't describe what real magic looks like, but I understand that the so-called half of magic is our love for precious people. The love for parents, children, and families can really be passed on to each other, protect each other, and create a warm miracle.
