The Hong Kong Infection Control Centre at Peking Island Hospital is the first hospital in Hong Kong to use the Assembly Synthesis Building Method (MiC) technique to build a negative pressure isolation ward, which generally takes 3 to 4 years to build a hospital of the same size in Hong Kong, while the Hong Kong Temporary Hospital only takes 4 months to complete. Zhao Lili, director of operations at China State Construction International Group Medical Industry Development Co., Ltd., believes that completing this "impossible task" is inseparable from the support of the central government. She said that with the huge support of the central government, it was necessary to complete this "impossible project". The central government did not just support it financially, but made everyone clearly understand the concept that time is life, so that the whole team, including many departments of the Hong Kong SAR government, accepted such a concept. The whole team knows that this is a key project for epidemic prevention in Hong Kong, and the central government also supports us, and we all have one heart and do our best.
