The "Asian Games Football Dream" activity launched by the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee aims to support 2022 "Asian Games Football Dream" schools in Asia through equipment support, campus football course donations, public welfare summer camps, football friendly matches and other forms, and to support campus sports events and youth physical and mental development. The "Malaysia Dream" was organized by the Malaysia-China Education Association, and was supported by the Malaysian Olympic Council, the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, the Johor Government of Malaysia and co-organized by a number of associations and enterprises.

According to the organizers, the current event has been registered by 139 schools in Malaysia, which will create a good football environment for teachers and students of these schools.
