Since the time of the two is very similar (Japan Cup 11.25, Hong Kong International Race 12.9, the difference between the two is only two weeks), if the horse participates in the Japan Cup, it is too late in the recuperation and quarantine time to participate in the international race in Hong Kong, between the two, the international foal is more inclined to the Hong Kong race, the Japan Central Athletic Jockey Club, in order to attract more international foals, a lot of effort has been made, such as increasing the prize money to encourage foreign high-quality foals to come to Japan; there are special rewards for international foals. As in the case of some international champions (Dubai World Cup, etc.), if they run in the top three of the Japan Cup, they will have a huge bonus.
