At 6:45 p.m. on November 22, a partial collapse occurred in a dormitory building of the former Baima Temple Pharmaceutical Factory on The Former Baima Temple Pharmaceutical Factory on The Northern Road of Sinopharm North Road in Ganjiang New District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, with a collapsed area of about 430 square meters.
After the accident, 9 people were rescued and 4 people were missing.
After overnight search and rescue by rescue personnel, as of 4:25 a.m. on the 23rd, all 4 missing people had been searched, and the hospital confirmed that there were no vital signs. The on-site rescue search and rescue work was completed. At present, the focus of work has been fully shifted to on-site risk removal and aftermath work, and the cause of the collapse is still being further verified.
According to the staff of the Jiangxi Provincial Fire Rescue Corps, the collapsed house is a fund-raising house of the White Horse Temple Pharmaceutical Factory, with a total of 6 floors, which was completed in 1995. According to the Beiqing-Beijing headline reporter, the building is a brick-concrete prefabricated panel structure.
