5 vehicle exhaust monitoring "artifacts" appeared in the provincial city
Recently, Xining Motor Vehicle Pollution Prevention and Control Management Center purchased 5 new mobile motor vehicle exhaust remote sensing monitoring vehicles, which will provide new technical support for the prevention of air pollution.
The newly added 5 motor vehicle exhaust remote sensing monitoring vehicles are through advanced adjustable infrared laser diode differential absorption spectroscopy technology, ultraviolet differential absorption spectroscopy technology, weak signal detection technology and image recognition technology, etc., to determine the composition and concentration of molecules by the position and intensity of the absorption spectral line, automatically telemetry of a variety of pollutants IN the exhaust of motor vehicles CO, CO, NO, HC and exhaust smoke, real-time output monitoring results, combined with vehicle identification technology, measures for vehicles with excessive emissions. There is no need to contact the vehicle under test, so heavy contamination vehicles can be quickly identified.
Xining Municipal Motor Vehicle Pollution Prevention and Control Management Center related staff said that the traditional car exhaust detection using the chassis dynamometer test method, because this method must be operated indoors, and requires the test of motor vehicles according to fixed driving conditions, so it can not truly reflect the actual vehicle exhaust emissions on the road, and the emission test system is too large, it is difficult to operate when used, and the vehicles tested often take a long time to get the test results.
At present, Xining City has built 3 sets of fixed and 6 sets of mobile exhaust remote sensing monitoring systems, which provide a strong guarantee for effectively improving the prevention and control of motor vehicle pollution and reducing motor vehicle exhaust pollution.
