Live Knot singer Corey Taylor contracted the breakthrough coronavirus, which made him very, very sick.
According to The Rolling Stone, the 47-year-old musician was forced to cancel his scheduled appearance at the Michigan Pop Culture Convention this weekend after testing positive for the new coronavirus. Corey Taylor first shared the news in a video posted on a Facebook page on Friday, and he was scheduled to appear at the event on Saturday and Sunday.
"I wish I had better news. I woke up today and tested positive and I was very, very sick. So I can't go this weekend. I completely broke down. I'm sorry. I want everyone to have fun, and I promise you I'll rush back as soon as possible. ”
Corey Taylor assured fans he should be okay, saying that because he was vaccinated, he wasn't worried about his illness. "But I certainly don't want to spread it to anybody, so everybody has to be safe outside." Thank you very much. I'll see you again, I promise. ”
Event organizers shared their own message on Facebook and wrote below Taylor's video: "In this day and age, maintaining the health and safety of everyone is critical. Covid-19 is no joke, it can affect anyone, even those who have been vaccinated. Unfortunately, this also includes celebrities. We want Corey to recover as soon as possible, and we urge everyone to remain vigilant. If you're coming to an event, remember to wear a mask to keep yourself and everyone present safe. ”
