Beijing News (Reporter Li Yan) In the early morning of June 4, Beijing time, the 73rd Cannes Film Festival announced a list of 56 shortlisted films. Due to the impact of the new crown epidemic, this year's Cannes Film Festival cannot be held offline, but the "Cannes 2020" lineup was still selected. This year's Festival de Cannes does not have a Palme d'Or, there is no unit, but there is a simple classification. Festival director Fu Mao said 56 films will be screened in official theaters or other film festivals, and some will be selected for the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.

Among the shortlisted films are Wes Anderson's "French Mission", François Oujong's "Summer of '85", Thomas Winterberg's "Alcohol Project", Naomi Kawase's "Morning Dawn Is Coming", Francis Lee's "Ammonite", Yan Sang-ho's "Busan Trip 2: The Peninsula", Studio Ghibli's "Aya and the Witch", etc.

In the Chinese film section, Du Qifeng, Hong Jinbao, Xu Anhua, Tan Jiaming, Yuan Heping, Xu Ke directed the "Band of Seven" and Wei Shujun's "Wild Horse Mane" was selected.
