First of all, it was his powerful aura and deep mind.
From the appearance, Muto Nobuyoshi is just a white-haired old man, giving the impression that he is elegant and knowledgeable, and has studied Chinese tea ceremony, Buddhism, etc., which is why he can often talk with Puyi.
But at the same time, his seemingly gentle tone has an unquestionable toughness, and his thin body always gives people a sense of determination. Therefore, in Puyi's memoirs, we often see that he regards this old man as the most authoritative and feared person, "as powerful as a god."
It was precisely under the coercion and inducement of Muto Nobuyoshi that Puyi signed the "Japan-Manchuria Protocol" with Japan, announcing the establishment of the puppet state of Manchukuo, and thoroughly exposing the conspiracy to betray the rights and interests of northeast China.

Although Muto Nobuyoshi was a great age, he was not at all ambiguous about the fighting, so much so that many Kwantung armies at that time called him the "Patron Saint of Manchuria".
As early as the Japanese invasion of Tohoku, Muto Nobuyoshi had led 40,000 Kwantung Army, and despite the absolute disadvantage of troops, he still took the three northeastern provinces, which led to the "Manchurian region" being separated from the rule of the Nationalist government.
Shortly after the signing of the "Japan-Manchuria Protocol", in order to clear the way for Japanese colonial rule in the northeast region, Muto Nobuyoshi launched the Rehe Campaign, forcing He Yingqin to sign the "He Mei Agreement" that humiliated the country.
As Chinese, we hate the disaster this war criminal brought to China, but from another point of view, we have to admit Muto Nobuyoshi's super ability to command troops.
It was through a series of merits in northeast China that Muto Nobuyoshi was promoted to marshal in May 1933 and reached the peak of his life.
However, Muto Nobuyoshi, who had just climbed to the peak of his life, did not last long, and only two months after being named a marshal, that is, in July 1933, Muto Nobuyoshi was infected with jaundice, and coupled with his advanced age, he soon died.
Before his death, Muto Nobuyoshi also wrote a poem to his daughter -
Be considerate of you and me,
No one can be together for the country.
Even though life has been exhausted,
You can still meet on the other side.
