Recently, the Guangguang Mountain Private Tea Garden located in the Man short village committee of Menghai County received a real estate property right certificate issued by the Menghai County Natural Resources Bureau. It is reported that this is the first forest property rights certificate issued by Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, which is an important step for exploring and promoting the transformation and upgrading of the tea industry and helping to effectively connect with rural revitalization.

Guangguang Mountain Private Tea Garden is a full-property private tea garden project jointly launched by Xishuangbanna Pu'er Tea Ecological Culture Industrial Park, Xishuangbanna Jishengxiang Tea Culture Development Co., Ltd., and Yunnan Weituo Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. Li Yilin, the person in charge of the project, said that the adoption of tea gardens is to solve the problem of consumers drinking assured tea and high-quality tea, and to deepen the transformation and upgrading of the tea industry and the diversified development of innovation; and the issuance of the real estate property rights certificate of the tea garden fundamentally "revitalizes" the fixed assets of rural tea farmers, releases the great vitality that restricts market circulation and transactions, and helps to explore a new way to effectively connect with rural revitalization. Li Yilin said that in the past, the adoption of tea gardens for 1 year or 10 years had no ownership, which was equivalent to renting a house. With the forest property rights real estate property rights certificate, it is equivalent to owning real estate, which fundamentally breaks the industry practice and effectively promotes the healthy development of the local tea industry.
"Since there is no precedent in the country, the process of applying for a real estate property right certificate in a private tea garden is not easy from idea to landing. This is due to the bold attempts and strong support of the Xishuangbanna Prefecture Party Committee and The State Government of Xishuangbanna Prefecture and the Party Committees and Governments at all levels in Menghai County to revitalize the rural economy. Li Yilin said that the project is of great significance to the development of Man Short Village. Xishuangbanna Jishengxiang Tea Culture Development Co., Ltd. has been stationed in Guangguang Mountain for 10 years, with a cumulative investment of nearly 100 million yuan, and has built a multi-functional integrated industrial park covering tea mountain experience (tea awareness, tea picking, tea making), tea mountain tourism, Pu'er tea tourism factory, tea art training, tea culture experience, health vacation, ecological agriculture, ecological cuisine, etc., which has driven the economic development of Man short village and surrounding villages. The Guangguang Mountain Private Tea Garden Project was officially launched in 2020, relying on rural ecological agriculture and urban consumption demand, closely connected through the tea garden project, to achieve the circular interaction of urban and rural economy, and finally through the private tea garden project to achieve the goal of "spreading, attracting, retaining and getting rich" in Man short village and surrounding villages.
He Qingyuan, director and researcher of the Tea Research Institute of Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, believes that the launch of the Guangguang Mountain private tea garden project is another attempt and innovation of the tea industry to revitalize the rural economy, and the promotion of the project will accelerate the construction of a "cultural tourism + tea industry + rural" large industrial ecosystem in GuangliangShan, and comprehensively promote the development of Man Short Village in Menghai Town, Menghai County.
Du Ruqing, president of the Yunnan Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Association, said that the Guangguang Mountain private tea garden project has 12,000 mu of dwarfed ancient tea gardens, which provides a good foundation for promoting the integration of Pu'er tea first, second and third industries and driving local development. In February this year, the "Yunnan Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Industry Integration boost rural revitalization demonstration zone" was officially established in xishuangbanna Pu'er tea ecological and cultural industrial park, becoming the first demonstration area of the revitalization of rural economic industrial parks supported by the association.
