Starting with the name, what does the name NØKK mean?
NØKK is actually a kind of water demon in German mythology, sometimes the image of the water demon half man, half fish, and the siren and other ghosts are very similar from the German Nixe, the Danish nøkke (nøkk is short), the Dutch nikker, each German-speaking cultural country has its own name, but is basically a thing.

According to the data, NØKK was born from the Special Forces of the Danish Army: the Hunter Corps (that is, the Jaeger), but in fact her iconic appearance is obviously borrowed from the Special Forces of the Danish Navy: the Frogman Unit.
