Tigers, June 8 -- On Thursday, U.S. time, the Hawks signed quarterback Carson Wentz to a four-year contract that made him one of the highest-paid players in the league.
As a sworn enemy of the Eagles, Cowboy Rush passer DeMarcus Lawrence also answered very simply: the higher the salary, the worse the "fall".
Lawrence tweeted Thursday night that the richer they are, the better it feels like they'll feel ashamed to be home.
Lawrence also got a decent new contract this offseason, and given that his mission was meant to destroy the quarterback, it makes sense to respond with ferocity.
Wentz's record against Dallas was two-win and three-loss, but Lawrence failed to make a successful tackle in nine career games against the Hawks, indirectly proving the excellent level of the Hawks' offensive interceptor Lane Johnson.
There are many high-paying quarterbacks that Lawrence needs to "shame" this year, in addition to Wentz drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins, Matthew Stafford and Tom Brady.
