The youth film "Glad to Meet You" is set for 0111
On December 15, at the new film promotion meeting of the Hainan International Film Festival, the youth road film "Glad to Meet You" announced that it would be scheduled for January 11 next year. "Glad to Meet You" is Li Jie's first self-written and self-directed feature film, starring Ling Zhenghui and Pang Lujia. Ling Zhenghui played Xiao Hong's younger brother Zhang Xiuke in "The Golden Age" and played Li Kai in the 2018 Golden Horse Awards Best Feature Film "Elephant Sitting on the Ground".

The film tells the story of Chen Ding (Ling Zhenghui), an exchange student at the University of Sydney, who accidentally caused a laboratory accident and broke his foot after receiving a call from his girlfriend to break up. Feeling at the bottom of the valley, he decides to hire the eccentric Chinese girl Victoria (Pang Lujia) as a driver and drive to Cairns to ask his girlfriend what is going on. The animated film "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas", based on the novel of the same name, is scheduled for January 18, directed by Shinichiro Ushijima and produced by Anip Corporation in Japan. Japanese film star Masaru Takasugi will give voice to the male protagonist in the film, and Lynn, who has contributed voices for works such as Naruto and Doraemon: Walk with Me, voice the heroine Sakura.
"I Want to Eat Your Pancreas" tells the story of the "lone ranger" male protagonist in the class who coincidentally picks up a notebook called "Communicable Disease Library", which makes him meet Sakura, a popular girl in the class.
