From 16 to 17 September, the delegation visited Karolinska Institutet and its affiliated New Karolinska Hospital and Daderyd Hospital in Sweden. In a discussion with Professor Anders Gustafsson and Professor Robert Harris, two vice presidents of Karolinska Institutet, Chen Yuguo said that the cooperation between Qilu Hospital of Shandong University and Karolinska Institutet in Sweden began in 2003 and has made many achievements in the past 16 years. It is hoped that on the existing basis, scientific research cooperation can be expanded into a comprehensive cooperation between basic, clinical and transformational, and new cooperation in scientific research personnel training and mutual visits of clinical personnel can be carried out. On September 18, the delegation visited the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Bergen in Norway and its affiliated Haukeland Hospital, and held talks with Per Nakke, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Einvind Hansen, President of the Hospital, and other relevant responsible persons. During the meeting, Chen Yuguo said that the cooperation between the two institutes in the field of brain science was very successful, and many achievements were made in scientific research output, joint training of students and introduction of talents.
