The man, Steven Walter Robinson Jr., is 30 years old.
He bought a ticket for the horror film "The Signal" at the AMC Theater in Fulton, California, where he had hacked two strangers. It is said that before the film was screened, he clashed with the security guards, who allowed him to bring alcohol in.
Steven may have been on drugs at the time. After being refused entry, he went to the cashier to find one of his pockets, and later the people at the ticket office found that the pocket was returned to him, and the pocket contained hallucinogenic cigarettes. No one expected that later, Steven sneaked back to the screening scene with a folding knife and slashed two people who did not know each other watching the movie with the knife.
Steven has now been convicted of attempted homicide and sentenced to 22 years in prison.
