Recently, DPVR, a company focused on the design and manufacture of virtual reality (VR) devices, announced a strategic partnership with XRGlobal, a Provider of Education Solutions in South Africa. As part of the agreement, DPVR will act as a supplier of XRGlobal to provide it with customized VR software and hardware, as well as after-sales service for its hardware.

DPVR focuses on the application of VR technology in enterprises and provides the development and manufacture of the entire product. According to reports, DPVR has established distribution channels in more than 20 countries such as the United States, Japan, South Korea, the Netherlands, Russia, Brazil and so on, providing solutions for enterprises.

XRGlobal is committed to providing training solutions through immersive VR, augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR). The company notes that using VR and AR in training helps increase engagement and deepen impressions, and enables organizations to enforce consistent, measurable standards at scale. Some of the methods offered by VR-based technologies to train employees are not always feasible or safe in the real world, but in VR they can be a more cost-effective solution than traditional classroom training.
