Tiger Punch, June 21 - Manuel Briñas, a meritorious employee who founded atletico's academy, died on Thursday morning local time at the age of 87.
Briñas spent more than 20 years at Atletico, scouting stars including Torres.
However, as he admitted to molesting minors at Marianist Hermanos Amorós Academy, Atletico announced that they would sever contact with him.
