On 27 December, Stefan Hula won the Grand Prix of the Polish National Championships in Wisla.

Szczyrk ski jumper Stefan Hoola, 31, finished fourth from Poland's best athlete at the 17th World Cup, his first national title, jumped 123.5m and 126m respectively in two jumps, with a total score of 254.3 points.

In second place was Piotr Zyla, who jumped out of the 119m and 120m to score 231.9 points. Third place was Kamil Stoch, who tied for first place with Stefan Hoola at 126 meters in the first jump, but did not perform well in the second jump, jumping only 111.5 meters and finishing third with 226.2 points.

The German Ski Association (DSV) will begin its 66th Edition of the Four Hills race this Friday, when a strong team of 13 athletes will compete, with at least two of the top athletes vying for the overall title of the event.

In addition to being composed of Richard Freitag, Andreas Wellinger, Markus Eisenbichler, Pius Paschke, Stephan Leyhe, Karl Geiger and Constantin Schmid) formed a World Cup team, while the national team Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen will also participate in these events.

So far, Moritz Baer, Martin Hamann, Felix Hoffmann, David Siegel and Andreas have all confirmed their participation in the competition, with another ski jumper selected after Engel's Intercontinental Cup.

New Zealand disabled athlete Adam Hall won the gold medal at the last Alpine Skiing World Cup and won the men's steeplechase at kutai, Austria, at the fastest speed.

Hall won the final victory with a total time of 1:43.19. Alexander Alyabyev and Sweden's Aaron Lindstrom tied for second place, both at 1:44.14.

With just a few months left before the opening of the 2018 Winter Paralympic Games, Hall believes the results of those games provide a measure for his team.

The Pyeongchang Winter Olympics will be Hall's fourth Paralympic Event. Disabled athletes Corey Peters, Aaron Ewen and Carl Murphy will join him in the national team. The 2018 PyeongChang Winter Paralympic Olympics will be held from March 9 to 18.
