Kitsilano is a quiet waterfront community in Vancouver, with a beautiful environment, stable personnel, and an average price of more than $3 million for detached houses, which is a veritable "luxury residential area".
Unexpectedly, the quiet life of the residents was shattered by a murder: on Friday, a 77-year-old man was found killed in his home!

The old man who was killed, Justis Daniels, a longtime caretaker of Tatlow Park, lived in a house equipped with the park.
On Friday morning, one of Daniel's friends felt that he had not been seen in a few days and was worried about his health, so he called the medical staff and asked them to come to the door to check.
The medic arrives at Daniels' home, only to find him dead! So I called the police.
Police then arrived and sealed off the scene.
Police said his death was the city's 17th homicide of the year.
It is understood that Daniel was an activist in the community, and in the eyes of his neighbors, he was "kind, gentle, humorous" and "always a gentleman", and his death was difficult for the neighbors to accept.
A spokesman for the Vancouver Parks Commission also said Daniel "contributes to the fun of the park every day ... His life was ended in such a way that we all feel sad."
At present, the case is under investigation. Police hope that people passing by Tatlow Park and nearby streets from 7 a.m. to 10 A.M. on Dec. 9 will be able to provide relevant clues.
Anyone with information can contact the Major Crimes Unit at 604-717-2500 at Vancouver Police.
The murder of a beloved old man in his home is indeed unacceptable. It is hoped that the police will find the murderer as soon as possible and let the deceased rest in peace.
