2021 / Autumn Performance at China Ballet Demonstration Base

A ballet greeting, a song of praise for growth! On October 5th, the 2021 Autumn Exhibition of the Chinese Ballet Demonstration Base of the National Ballet of China officially kicked off! After 6 months, we have gathered again at the Beijing Tianqiao Theater, which is also another ballet feast held at the demonstration base after the lize demonstration base in April 2021!

All along, the China Ballet Demonstration Base has always regarded improving the physical fitness and artistic accomplishment of students as its own responsibility, and promoted the development of Chinese children's ballet art through continuous innovation. The 2021 China Ballet Demonstration Base Autumn Exhibition is an exclusive art performance stage for children.

In the evening's performance, a group of outstanding Chinese and foreign ballet masterpieces were sincerely interpreted by the children of the Zhongguancun Demonstration Base of Chinese Ballet and carefully dedicated to the audience. From the Western fairy tale ballet "The Nutcracker" to the Chinese ballet "Red Detachment of Women" and "Little Sisters of the Prairie Heroes", the serious display of each scene tells the children's efforts and love on the road of ballet.

As the finale of the performance, the children's original ballet "The Growth of the Ugly Duckling" perfectly interprets the spirit and charm of ballet with the vitality and agility of young dancers.

Different from the previous performance, in addition to the classic roles of ugly duckling, swan, duck mother, duck sister and other classic roles, three cute and lively new characters have been added to the repertoire, the industrious and busy little bee, the caterpillar who walks slowly but carefully at every step, and the witty and loving weasel.
