"Sichuan Craftsman Cup" is a brand of vocational skills competitions built by Sichuan Province, since the restart of the curtain in Meishan Long in 2017, it has been successfully held for three sessions, with a total of more than 2.3 million participants, the scale of the competition and the social impact have expanded year by year, and the brand effect has initially emerged. The Sichuan Provincial Selection Competition closely connects with the first Vocational Skills Competition of the People's Republic of China, and sets up a World Competition Project Group and a National Competition Project Group, with a total of 86 competition items, covering six major fields such as transportation and logistics, construction and structural technology, manufacturing and engineering technology, information and communication technology, creative arts and fashion, and social and personal services. The selection competition has set up an organizing committee led by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, which is responsible for the overall planning, overall promotion and organization and coordination of the competition. In terms of event operation, competition rules, competition arrangements, and referee formation, etc., they all refer to the standards of the WorldSkills Competition.
In order to widely mobilize the enthusiasm of cities, prefectures and related enterprises and colleges to participate in the competition, do a good job in preparing for the first vocational skills competition of the People's Republic of China, and at the same time combine the current needs of epidemic prevention and control, the Sichuan Provincial Selection Competition reform mode adopts the mode of integrating resources, centralized management, unified deployment, and decentralized competition, relying on the advantages of facilities and equipment, and the relevant cities and states and some colleges and universities with rich experience in organizing the competition, and according to the competition project settings of the first vocational skills competition of the People's Republic of China. A number of competition areas (competition points) will be set up throughout the province, and the competition work will be organized in accordance with the principle of "extensive publicity, key mobilization, implementation of points, centralized training, and unified participation", and the number of competition items and the scale of participation will reach a new high.
