author:The Paper

Hu Jianyun ran for 16 years, traveling to more than a dozen cities across the country, just to find his lost son Xiaolin. What he did not expect was that his son had lived in a welfare home just over 30 kilometers from home for 16 years.

On September 17, in the Erlang Police Station of the Jiulongpo District Bureau of the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau, the family hugged each other tightly. Kobayashi told the surging news (www.thepaper.cn) that he remembered getting on a bus alone and was later taken to a welfare home by an elderly man. Hu Jianyun said he planned to rename his son "Hu Yimin" to thank the police for their help to the family.

After her son was lost, the mother blamed herself day by day

On the afternoon of the 17th, Hu Jianyun and his wife Tang Xiumei just met Zhang Nanyang, a police officer at the Erlang police station, and asked, "Officer Zhang, my son, what about my son?" ”

Tang Xiumei's eyes were red, her dark circles were heavy, and her two hands were clutching the backpack in her hand. While waiting for his son, Hu Jianyun walked back and forth in the conference room, asking the police around him from time to time how their clothes were, whether their hair would be a little long, and whether they looked good.

At 15:28, the police car that picked up Kobayashi arrived at the police station. As he ascended the stairs, Kobayashi suddenly stopped, took a deep breath, and then stepped on his feet and walked upwards.

The family was finally reunited after 16 years.

Tang Xiumei clearly remembers that the day Kobayashi disappeared was September 5, 2002. That day, Kobayashi played at his aunt's house.

Photos saved on Hu Jianyun's phone.

"At that time, his aunt ran to me in a panic, saying that the big baby was gone, me and the baby and his father immediately looked around, shouting that no one answered, the place was so big, how to find it can not be found, I am crazy, a three-year-old doll where can he go?" Tang Xiumei said that because of this incident, her husband complained about her for 16 years, and she also blamed herself for 16 years.

Hu Jianyun said: "Xiaolin is really obedient and smart. I didn't want to live when I heard the news, but if I died, he would never come back. ”

Since then, the couple has begun to look around to find out the whereabouts of their son. Although the police were called at that time, the technical conditions at that time were limited, and the police did a lot of work and still did not obtain effective information.

"Over the years, we have gone to Beijing, Shaanxi, hubei, and traveled to more than ten places, and the results are all empty joy." Hu Jianyun said.

According to Zhang Nanyang, although the police and leaders in charge of handling the case have changed several times, everyone has never given up the confidence to find their children, and with the development of public security technology and the establishment of the national "missing person information database", the hope of finding Xiaolin has taken another step forward. On the one hand, the police collected the DNA of Lao Hu and his wife in a timely manner and entered the relevant information into the "Missing Persons Information Database"; on the other hand, the police insisted on visiting and contacting the old residents around the missing area of Xiaolin in that year, ensuring that 100% of the visits were visited, and striving not to miss a clue.

Hu Jianyun sent a pennant to the police.

Traveling all over the country looking for a son, the son turned out to be in Chongqing

In September, Hu Jianyun received a phone call from the Banan police saying that the DNA of a child named Wu Qiang in a chongqing welfare home had been successfully compared with them.

On September 13, the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau's Forensic Evidence Identification Center issued a DNA test to confirm the identity of the child. The notice shows that Wu Qiang has a biological and genetic relationship with Hu Jianyun and Tang Xiumei.

After further search and verification by the Erlang police station and confirmation by the photos of Hu Jianyun and his wife, Wu Qiang is his son Xiaolin, who has been missing for 16 years!

On the 17th, the Erlang police station sent police to take Wu Qiang back to his biological parents to raise. When we met, Kobayashi kept smiling, without shedding a tear, he said: "I don't want to cry, I want to tell mom and dad, your son has grown up and is strong." ”

Kobayashi vaguely remembers that when he was a child, he was curious about everything, and on the day he lost his way, he picked up a small bag and got on the bus, and was later picked up by a kind grandfather, because he was too young to remember the names of his parents, so he had to be sent to a welfare home.

Hu Jianyun said that in a few days it will be the Mid-Autumn Festival, and he plans to shout all the people who have helped him in the past 16 years and have a lively festival. Hu Jianyun also plans to change Xiaolin's name to "Hu Yimin" and then go to the household registration: "'Min' is the 'people' of the people's police, and he must always remember that he was found by the people's police!" ”
