According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, affected by cold air, it is expected that from 20:00 on December 16 to 20:00 on december 18, most of the central and eastern parts of China will cool down by 6 to 10 °C, of which the cooling range of southeastern Jilin, southern Shandong, eastern Anhui, most of Jiangsu, most of Zhejiang, and western Shanghai can reach more than 12 °C.
On the morning of December 18, the minimum temperature line of 0 °C is located in the southern part of Zhejiang to the northern part of the Sichuan Basin. The Central Meteorological Observatory continues to issue a blue warning of cold waves, and the China Meteorological Administration has launched a level IV emergency response.

The 17th is the day with the largest cooling range and the most obvious reduction in the process. Much of the east and central region has cooled down significantly. There are 6 to 12 °C cooling in the southeast of the northeast region, the east of Huanghuai and other places; the cooling of the eastern part of Jiangnan, south China, the eastern part of Yunnan and other places is 4 to 8 °C, and the local area is about 10 °C.

Among them, the northeast region has the heaviest chill, the maximum temperature in many places will drop to about -10 °C, and the minimum temperature will drop to below -15 °C, of which the minimum temperature in Harbin will fall below -20 °C, for the first time in the second half of this year.
In Beijing, the 17th is the most obvious day of cooling, the lowest temperature in the morning will drop to around -7 °C, the wind chill effect is significant, and the body feels very cold.
The maximum temperature in the eastern part of the southwest region and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River will mostly bottom on the 18th, and the new low this year will be refreshed in a large area.
The maximum temperature in many places will fall to single digits for the first time, such as the highest temperature in Wuhan and Hangzhou on the 18th, which fell below 10 ° C for the first time in the second half of the year, and the recently accumulated warmth will be consumed in the rain and cooling in the next few days, and Jiangsu has issued an orange warning signal for the cold wave.
However, the impact of this cold wave will not last long, and it can even be said to be "fried beard". From the 19th, as the impact of the cold wave weakens, the temperature in the central and eastern regions will begin to rebound one after another.
