According to the relevant person in charge of the Fengtai District Health Commission, the Fengtai Hospital Quality Improvement and Reconstruction Project is an important people's livelihood project in Fengtai District, which officially started demolition on December 27, 2018, officially started construction in April 2019, capped the main structure in December 2020, completed the secondary structural masonry in May 2021, and is currently in the stage of decoration and mechanical and electrical installation.
In 2021, Fengtai Hospital successfully completed the evaluation and promotion of tertiary hospitals, and there was another tertiary hospital in Fengtai District. The new campus is expected to be completed and accepted in June 2022 and put into use in December. It is reported that the construction land area of the new campus is 37,500 square meters, with a total construction area of about 113,400 square meters and 900 beds.
In recent years, Fengtai District has continued to improve the medical and health service system, strengthen the supply of high-quality medical resources, and next year, in addition to realizing the opening of the new branch of Fengtai Hospital, it will also start the construction of the second phase of the Fengtai Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.
It is reported that the second phase of the Beijing Fengtai Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine has completed all the preparations before the project was established, and is in the deepening design stage, which is scheduled to start construction in the third quarter of 2022 and be completed and put into use at the end of 2024.

The second phase of the construction project of Fengtai Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine includes a ward complex building and supporting facilities, and plans to set up 10 nursing units, a central dialysis room, an endoscopic center, an operating room and other departments and some radiographic examination facilities. At the same time, outdoor projects such as roads and greening and municipal engineering construction will be implemented simultaneously. After completion, Fengtai Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital will more comprehensively improve the medical service capacity and technical level in Hexi, optimize the resource allocation structure, and provide more powerful medical support for regional construction and the protection of people's health.
