Last week, Remedy unveiled a sequel to its 2010 action-adventure game Mind Killer 2, and although the development team didn't reveal any additional details, Sam Lake confirmed that the game would be in the third person.
Sam Lake also revealed that Ilkka Villi and Matthew Porretta will return to play the role of Alan Wake. Matthew Porretta will voice Alan Wake, and Ilkka Villi will provide Alan Wake with a capture of his looks.
Mindkiller 2 will be an exclusive game in the Epic Store, but no specific release date has been announced.
It is worth mentioning that Psycho Killer 2 will only land on next-generation platforms. Given that Remedy's last game, Control, was made with the Noblelight engine, we can speculate that Mindkiller 2 may also use this internal engine, and that it may also support Nvidia's DLSS technology and ray tracing effects.
