There is also a WWE player, who asked not to be named, who can earn about $4 million a year through their guaranteed contract.

As for other talent, the compensation structure has changed. Over the years, WWE has paid wrestlers a guaranteed wage, meaning they receive a salary every year under their contract, but they are able to earn more through things like pay-per-view bonuses and merchandise bonuses. According to a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that has changed, at least for most players.

For these top players, there are no longer any prize money, but the base salary offered to these wrestlers is the highest in the company's history, and the value of these new contracts is higher than the current price in recent years.
