"Nanjing must be very congested today, because 300,000 people want to go home." Yesterday, a comment from netizens was debatable.
The martyrdom of the country has not dared to be forgotten, and it is a tragic history that the people of the whole country cannot forget.
In the history of Chinese cinema, there are many films with the theme of the War of Resistance, showing the tragedy of that era and making people remember history.

Among them, "Blood Battle Taierzhuang", released in 1986, can be called a classic in this genre film. It is understood that at that time, a ticket for the film was only 3 cents, but the film won a box office of 270 million yuan, which was a box office miracle.
Since its release, this film has been labeled "real", and the last tragic "Great Wall of Flesh and Blood" has visually and psychologically impacted the audience, and also showed the world the tenacious spirit of the Chinese nation in the face of foreign aggression.
Personally, I think that the "Blood Battle Taierzhuang" and "Garland Under the Mountain" and "Armageddon" series can be called the three peaks of Chinese war films.
01, Taierzhuang Victory
The film truly restores the war scenes of the Battle of Taierzhuang.
In the spring of 1938, under the pressure of world public opinion, the Japanese invading Japanese army removed Matsui Ishigen, who had caused the Nanjing Massacre, and sent Hata Shunroku as the new commander of the Central China Theater.
Under the leadership of Hata Shunroku, the Central China Dispatch Army and the North China Dispatch Army fought jointly, preparing to attack the north and south of Xuzhou, opening the Jinpu Line, so that the two Japanese armies in the north and south could converge.
In this case, Taierzhuang, Zaozhuang, Shandong Province, became a military stronghold that the Japanese army had to take. To this end, Li Zongren personally visited the xuzhou battlefield, collected Wang Mingzhang, and activated Zhang Zizhong, who bore the name of "traitor", and prepared to lead the generals to fight the Japanese army to the death.
However, Han Fuyu's army temporarily dropped its chains, and in order to preserve its strength, he abandoned Jinan and let the Japanese army easily take the Yellow River defense line.
At this time, the Japanese Isoya Division took advantage of the situation and preemptively attacked Teng County, and launched a fierce battle with Wang Mingzhang's troops. However, due to Tang Enbo's lack of timely reinforcements, Teng County eventually fell, and Wang Mingzhang was martyred.
After capturing TengXian County, the Japanese army attacked Xuzhou with all its strength, and the Battle of Taierzhuang broke out in full swing. Li Zongren, who was determined to fight the Japanese to the death in Taierzhuang, ordered Zhang Zizhong, Sun Lianzhong, and Tang Enbo to cooperate in the battle.
When Sun Lianzhong's troops suffered heavy casualties and almost lost Taierzhuang, Li Zongren issued a military order, and Tang Enbocai led the army to reinforcements, and finally the Battle of Taierzhuang was won!
The battle lasted for more than a month and was China's greatest victory since the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan.
At the end of the film, there is a 4-minute long shot of the "Great Wall of Flesh and Blood", which allows the world to see the spirit of the Chinese soldiers' war of resistance.
This scene is also a real restoration of 700 soldiers, this shocking scene, caused the audience to cry, and even during the filming, the crew also shed tears many times.
02. The film is Premier Zhou's [last wish]
In 1965, at the reception banquet for Li Zongren and his wife to return to China, Premier Zhou said this to Cheng Yin, director of the Bayi Film Studio: "I see that Mr. Li has two things that can make movies, one is that today the leaves fall back to the roots, and the other is the Taier Zhuang Victory led in 1938." ”
The reason why Premier Zhou "arranged" this task to Chengyin is because Chengyin has rich experience in directing the theme of the War of Resistance. But as circumstances changed, the matter was shelved.
In 1982, Cheng Yin revived the matter, so they began to prepare the script. But unfortunately, Cheng Yin died two years later and could not wait for the filming.
Fortunately, under the persistence and efforts of director Yang Guangyuan, after 17 revisions, the script of "Blood Battle Taierzhuang" was finalized and produced through Guangxi Film Studio.
03. Because of a film, cross-strait communication is promoted
In June 1988, "Blood Battle Taierzhuang" was released in Hong Kong, which caused a sensation throughout Hong Kong.
At that time, Hsieh Chung-ho, the head of Taiwan Province in Hong Kong, also watched the film, and then called Comrade Jianfeng and told him that the mainland had made a film called "Blood Battle taierzhuang", which told the story of the Kuomintang army's war of resistance, and the image of Ling Zun in the film was very different from the past.
After listening to Xie Zhonghou's introduction, Comrade Jianfeng was excited and said, "I want to see it as soon as possible!" So, through the Hong Kong branch of Xinhua News Agency, the videotape of the film was brought back to Taiwan Province by Hsieh Chung-ho.
After watching the film, Comrade Jianfeng and Song Meiling were excited and said on the spot, "This film did not smear my father, because it admits that my father led the soldiers in the anti-Japanese resistance." It seems that the other side's policies are adjusting, and we must also adjust accordingly. ”
So three months later, Comrade Jianfeng agreed to let the veterans return to the interior to visit their relatives, and after 37 years, cross-strait relations began to break the ice.
Seeing this situation, Cheng Siyuan, who was in charge of united front work at the time, said excitedly: "The united front work has been working for several years, and it cannot be worthy of the role of a movie!" ”
04. After watching the film, Li Zongren's son wept
When "Blood Battle Taierzhuang" was not yet released, Li Zongren's son Li Youlin was still far away in the United States.
But after hearing about this film and understanding the general content of the film, Li Youlin couldn't wait to see this movie and flew back to China at the moment.
According to Li Youlin's recollection, in previous films, his father's contribution in the War of Resistance Against Japan was always deliberately avoided, and people's impression of Li Zongren was not good.
And this time, with his father as the protagonist of the film, he must return to China to see what kind of image his father is in the film.
At that time, the film was still in post-production, and the music was not finished, but Li Youlin couldn't wait to see it immediately, so he could only show him a sample without music editing and synthesis.
Accompanied by Shao Honglai, played by Li Zongren in the film, Li Youlin saw this film that he had in mind. Before the film was finished, the 66-year-old Li Youlin wept at the scene, he saw his father's contribution in the anti-Japanese resistance was recognized, he saw the positive image of his father in the film, and he was pleased with his father.
Subsequently, he clenched Shao Honglai's hand and murmured, "Too similar, too similar, thank you!" ”
It has been 35 years since the release of "Blood Battle Taierzhuang", but the history told in the film is something that the people of the whole country cannot forget, and it is also an indelible imprint on the history of China's War of Resistance.
The film strives to restore the real scenes of the battle and the real state of the characters, even after 35 years, it is shaking people's hearts and making people remember that history forever. (Author: West Window Snow)
