Anqing City in the southwest of Anhui Province, alias "Yicheng", has the reputation of "the throat of the Yangtze River, the first state in Wuchu Province".
Anqing has been the capital of Anhui since the division of Suzhou and Anhui in the sixth year of the Qing Dynasty (1667) and the establishment of Anhui Province, until the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China for more than 200 years. With a long history and a collection of humanities, it is a national historical and cultural city.
Anqing was once one of the famous Five Tigers of the Yangtze River, the birthplace of China's national industry, and the hometown of Huangmei Opera. Qianshan County in Anqing is the seat of the ancient Anhui State, from which Anhui is referred to as "Anhui".
As a history lover, I have longed for Anqing. This eleventh long holiday, in advance, made a strategy, to touch the historical pulse of Anqing, feel the humanistic atmosphere of Anqing.
At 9:00 a.m. on October 1st, I drove from Nanjing, along the Ningwu Expressway, to the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, but I did not expect to encounter serious road congestion in the middle of the way, and only at about 7 p.m. did I stay at the nearby renmin road pedestrian street booked by Ctrip. This way tossed people enough, and they were determined not to go out on the first day of Golden Week.
At night, Renmin Road Pedestrian Street and the streets and alleys in the ancient city are full of lights and people, dancing square dances, singing Huangmei opera, shopping side by side, tasting delicious ... It's dizzying.
Got up early the next morning. Strolling through the streets and alleys of anqing ancient city, the noise of the night has dissipated, there is no noisy human voice, very clean. Tread the bluestone slab road and touch the traces left by the years. "Upside-down Lion Street, Qianpailou Street, Domestic Goods Street, Four Arches", these streets and alleys with local characteristics and life atmosphere are the living fossils of Anqing's historical heritage.
I like to hang out alone in this quiet morning, step by step, looking left and right, walking in the ancient streets and alleys, as if traveling through time and space, and my heart is full of emotions.
Foreigners come to Anqing, Yingjiang Temple and Zhenfeng Pagoda are must go. Yingjiang Temple is located at the East Gate of Anqing, bordering the Yangtze River.
Zhenfeng Pagoda was built to revitalize the Anqing literary style, built from the second year of Ming Longqing (1568) and completed in the fourth year of Longqing, it is an octagonal seven-level pavilion style, conical in shape, up to 64.8 meters high, and has the function of navigation and extradition. In ancient times, it was known as "the first tower of the Yangtze River" and "not looking at the tower after Anqing", which is a symbol of Anqing's victory and ancient civilization.
Unfortunately, it was not the right time, the vibrand was being built for overhaul, so I had to find a few photos on the Internet to appreciate its majesty. Leave some regrets and look forward to going to Anqing Denglin next time.
The Anqing Pavilion on the lower slope of Longmen Street was built in the Ming Dynasty and is adjacent to Anqing No. 1 Middle School.
According to historical records, as early as the eleventh year of the Yuan Dynasty (1351), Anqing built a tower, which was destroyed in the war, and was rebuilt in the first year of Ming Hongwu as a watchtower of the prefect's office. In the third year of The Qing Dynasty (1855), the Anqing Prefectural Office was destroyed due to military turmoil, and only the Yulou survived. In the sixth year of Tongzhi (1867), Wu Kunxiu, the envoy of Anhui Province, rebuilt this building, with the inscription "White Sun and Blue Sky", embedded in the forehead of the door, which means that the official way is "two sleeves of clean wind, honest and clean", which has been passed down from generation to day.
Anqing Pavilion is an important historical site witnessing the partition of Suzhou and Anhui, and is a well-deserved landmark building in Anhui Province.

The Chen family is full of loyal martyrs. The popularity of "The Age of Awakening" and the glorious deeds of Chen Yannian and Chen Qiaonian have also touched countless Chinese people.
The next morning, after visiting the ancient street, I came to No. 35, West Lane, Dananmen Gate, to visit the former residence of the two martyrs. This is an old-fashioned green brick house, which is very dilapidated due to its disrepair.
Gazing at this building that has been preserved through thousands of years and luck, my heart is full of emotions.
In 1915, the 17-year-old Yannian and the 13-year-old Qiao Nian were here, waving goodbye to the countryside and dedicating themselves to the faith. When you go to the young body, return to the young soul. Salute to the martyrs!
Linghu Park in the center of Anqing is also a place worth seeing. The scenery in the park is beautiful and the cultural landscape is rich. The Huangmei Pavilion and Yan Fengying Memorial Hall in the park are the main objects of my visit.
When I was a child, watching the movie "Seven Fairies", although I didn't understand what the meaning of the song was, I firmly remembered Huang Mei opera and Yan Fengying. It is really "this song should only be heard in heaven, and the earth can hear it several times."
Unfortunately, Yan Fengying's life was ill-fated, and in the crazy years, he committed suicide with injustice... Such a tragedy makes people extremely sad, in the face of the statue buried with Yan Fengying's ashes in the ground, I bowed three times deeply, just for the remembrance and respect buried in my heart.

The last trip of Anqing's trip visited the Shitai Shidi (the former residence of Zhao Puchu) in Tiantaili Street, where Zhao Puchu, the former president of the Buddhist Association of China, was born in the thirty-third year of the Qing Dynasty (1907).
